We connect current and aspiring software engineers (SWEs) with experienced industry professionals for personalized coaching and mentorship. Whether you're SWE intern, a fresh graduate, or a seasoned staff engineer, SWE Guru can help you achieve your career goals.
NOTE: We want to focus especially on under-served groups in tech industry that don't have access to resources such as CS degrees, strong professional networks, strong financial backgrounds.
HOW WE WORK
We take the time to understand your unique goals, background, and areas for improvement. Then, we carefully match you with a mentor who has the specific experience and expertise to help you succeed.
Our flexible engagement allows you to start with a FREE focused 30-minute session, with the potential to build long-term mentoring relationships. Mentees will be expected to come prepared with a specific problem or a career goal. Our mentors will then guide you through a reflective process by asking insightful questions, providing feedback, and creating a space for you to explore solutions and develop strategies.

Our mentors are experienced industry veterans with a proven track record of success. They include senior SWEs, staff SWEs, senior engineering managers and product managers from top companies like Google and Meta, with extensive experience leading large teams.
We've curated a team of insightful, active listeners who are passionate about helping the next generation of software engineers thrive. Our coaches listen, learn, and ask questions without judgment and lead with both empathy and humillity.

Is SWE guru free?
Yes! Your one 30-minute session with a mentor is completely free. We’re just a group of people that benefited from mentorship in our own careers and want to give back to the community :)
